Prepared jobs

Each PDF is one design; the manifest identifies every identical copy, for example 17726-A-01 and 17726-A-02. Letters identify different designs. Set the printer copies to match the manifest. Download does not mark anything printed or fulfilled.

Dropbox handoff — approved print-job packages

Prepare locally, then explicitly send one frozen package. Dropbox confirmation verifies delivery, not printing. An uncertain transfer stays reserved until reconciled; it is never automatically sent again.

Limited & Standard stock production — shortage, preprint and inventory receipts

Available for this production plan = on hand minus committed. Print only the shortage, plus any explicit admin preprint request. Customer and subscription quantities cannot be changed here. Stock checks never change Shopify inventory.

Printed stock receipts

Record actual good and rejected units after printing. Only owner-reviewed good units can be added to Shopify. Downloading is not proof of printing.

Production costs

Printer consumption, QuickBooks posting and Walter reporting are not connected. Unknown costs are not $0. No accounting entries or customer messages are sent.

Setup required before actual cost reporting

Confirm printer / RIP version and computer, job-log format, ink units and prices, media roll width and cost, waste/reprints, labor rate and finishing costs. Map QuickBooks accounts and Walter's existing reporting contract before enabling either integration.
